This Parenthood star is pregnant — & just spilled some big beans
Oops! Looks like it’s another girl for Erika Christensen and husband Cole Maness — not that they necessarily meant for us to know that. The Parenthood actor announced in May that she was expecting their second child with her hubby, whom she married in 2015. But this week, Christensen attended the Vanity Fair and Max Mara Celebrate Alexandra Shipp: 2018 Women in Film Max Mara Face of the Future award event (say that five times fast and you’ll be ready for a nap). And when asked about her pregnancy, Christensen couldn’t help but rave that her daughter Shane, age 2, can’t wait to meet “her” soon. Oh, snap!
“Hopefully, the little one will learn a lot from her sister,” Christensen dished to Us Weekly at the award gala. “My mom got her a t-shirt that says big sister. So she seems to grasp that there’s a baby in here, and she’s going to be a big sister. And she’s given the belly some kisses and stuff.”
She also gushed about her husband: “He’s very excited. He’s extremely in love with our girl… He’s very excited to kind of see what the family expansion means for us.”
Christensen told Us that the pregnancy is going well despite some nausea in the first trimester. “I feel like the body was equalizing all the hormones and everything, and I’m kind of over that hump and into just more of like, I’m a person with a belly now.” She continued, “I also haven’t challenged myself particularly. Last time, I did a lot of big adventurous hikes and things, and I think I ought to get back into that. I think I was a little fitter the last time.” She also revealed she is craving salt, salt, salt — and delicious things like cheese and olives.
We don’t even need to be pregnant to crave those. And as for her being “a little fitter last time”? And not challenging herself? Um, Erika, dear, we beg to differ. We saw your recent Instagram pic, honey:
Ok, first of all, I’m a little further along then I let on. Bumpin for real. And secondly, I have never done this in my life. My friends practice acro-yoga and convinced me I’d be totally fine. They were right. Super fun, easier than it looks, and why not make a spectacle at the beach? #pregnant #AF

Acroyoga while pregnant is #MadFitnessGoals. Or, you know, #MaybeaLittleCrazy. Either way, you eat all the olives and cheese you want, lady.
