Eva Longoria Just Welcomed Her First Child

Eva Longoria, the actor behind everyone’s (or at least my and my college roommates’) favorite bratty housewife of yore, just made a major step into her biggest role yet: mom to a newborn son.

Hola USA reported the happy news today that Longoria gave birth to her first child with husband José Bastón on Tuesday, June 19. And because we know you’re dying to know: Santiago Enrique Bastón is the name of the cutie in question, and he showed up at 6 pounds 13 ounces at Los Angeles’ Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The couple, who got married two years ago in Mexico, shared the first photo of baby Santiago with Hola, adding that they “are so grateful for this beautiful blessing.” Take a look below (the pic doesn’t show much baby other than an adorable ear and tiny fist, but it is photographic proof of one thing for sure: Longoria’s face survived childbirth way better than mine did. Ah, celeb magic.)

Longoria previously told People about the birth that she was apothekegenerika.de, “[n]ervous, excited, emotional.” She also explained that her whole family was planning to be there for the birth. “They won’t be in the delivery room but they’ll be there,” she said, referring to the hospital.

And although little Santiago is Longoria’s firstborn, he’s got a built-in set of older siblings to guide/spoil/annoy him for life: Mariana, Natalia and José, Bastón’s three kids with former wife Natalia Esperón. We can only imagine the epic chic pajama parties these kids are gonna get into.
