New Mom Mandy Moore's 'MVP Accessory' for the Emmys Wasn't What You'd Expect
Mandy Moore remembered her breast pump while getting glammed up for the 2021 Emmy Awards, and we can so relate.
In her Instagram Stories, the This Is Us actress and mom of 7-month-old son Gus (whom she shares with husband Taylor Goldsmith), posted a photo of the device, what she called “Tonight’s MVP Accessory.”
Moore has previously talked honestly about her breastfeeding experience with baby Gus (whose full name is August Harrison). “Breastfeeding is not always smooth sailing (clogged ducts, timing life around feedings, pumping for when I’m at work, etc… ),” she wrote last month on Instagram while celebrating World Breastfeeding Week. “But nursing this baby boy for the past nearly 6 months has been a beautiful, messy and an oh so rewarding experience I will treasure forever. It goes without saying that #fedisbest and I’m grateful to my body and the tremendous support I’ve had around me (especially in the beginning days and weeks when I had no clue what I was doing) for allowing me this time to nourish my sweet guy.”

To prove her point, last night Moore returned to her Instagram Stories to share a hilarious ending to her glamorous evening:
“Now I’m home, naked in my pantry,” she said in a video, still wearing makeup. “Took the fake bangs out, eating pizza. I have a 4:30 a.m. call time.”
Sounds like a solid ending to a great night — and we hope she gets a chance to nap today!
