Welp, Stormi's Doll Is Definitely Wearing Enough Sunscreen

It's widely agreed upon among board-certified dermatologists that the average person should apply 2 milligrams of sunscreen per square centimeter of skin for the body — about one shot glass's worth, if you will — and half a teaspoon to the face and neck combined. Needless to say, if you're only about a foot tall and not actually a living thing, you probably don't need that much. Kylie Jenner's daughter, Stormi, isn't taking any chances with her Little Mermaid doll's skin health, though. 

On Tuesday, June 8, Jenner posted a video to her Instagram Stories in which Stormi is seen with her hands and feet fully doused in sunscreen. It's always a smart move to ensure coverage of your limbs, but it seems Stormi's cakey, white cast is the result of helping her Ariel doll get the sun protection she needs. (Mermaids need sunscreen, too, y'all.)

"What did I say, Stormi" Jenner says as she films her three-year-old's messy situation. "What did I say when I gave you the sunscreen to put on your dolly? I said don't put too much."

In all fairness, Stormi didn't actually get too much on Ariel's "skin." Most of the sunscreen — it appears to be Babyganics SPF 50+ Sunscreen Lotion — is on the doll's hair and tail (though that's technically skin, too, I suppose), not to mention on the wood floor and, of course, all over Stormi's extremities.

Stormi, of course, has the perfect toddler response to Jenner's gentle scolding: "Um, ma, I wanna go wash my hands."
