Surprise! Tamron Hall, 48, Reveals She's 32 Weeks Pregnant: 'There Have Been Many Tears'

Tamron Hall is going to be a mom!

The former Today host, 48, is pregnant and expecting her first child with husband Steven, she announced Monday alongside a series of images that showed off her baby bump and one with the dad-to-be.

“I’ve wanted to share this news for many months and now finally my doctor has said I am in a safe place, at 32 weeks, to share my joy with y’all. So, it’s clear a daytime talk show isn’t the only thing I’ve been trying to produce!” joked Hall, who wore a one-shoulder white gown for the first snapshot.

“There have been many tears, but today I embrace the smiles,” she continued. “My husband Steven and I are beyond excited! We’re in constant prayer, so if you pray, add us to your list; if you meditate, send calmness our way; and if you believe in luck, we’ll happily take that too.”

“More to share in a few weeks when the baby arrives!” Hall concluded her post. “Next chapter! Blessed and Grateful.”

A few minutes earlier, Hall teased her announcement, sharing a video of herself dancing to “Baby Shark” and holding a related book in front of her belly.

She then took the book away and showed off her belly, singing and dancing along to the popular kids’ tune before telling the camera, “Surprise! Can you believe it? I’m about to be a mommy shark really soon!”

Hall has kept her relationship details under wraps, but told Steve Harvey in February 2017 that she had a boyfriend who worked in the “entertainment” industry.

She opened up on Today in 2016 about how she wished she had “started the process” of having a child in her 20s and later, in a blog for the show (which she left, as well as NBC completely, in 2017), about becoming a parent.

“The question is, are you more of an adult, more of a woman, if you have a child? I believe, as a person who wants a child someday, I am no less able to want the best for children and the best for this world,” wrote Hall, who will begin hosting her own daytime talk show this year.

“Not to diminish the spectacular and beautiful journey of parenthood, but don’t make me feel I am half an adult if I don’t have a child,” she added. “Caring has nothing to do with being a parent. I care because I’m a human being.”
