Christina Anstead and Husband Ant Anstead Expecting a Boy: 'They Are Very Excited'
Christina Anstead has a son on the way!
The pregnant Flip or Flop and Christina on the Coast star is expecting a baby boy with husband Ant Anstead, her publicist Cassie Zebisch confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.
“While Christina and Ant wished they could have shared the news themselves, they are very excited to welcome a baby boy in the fall,” Zebisch says.
The confirmation comes after Christina’s ex-husband Tarek El Moussa sat down for an interview with TMZ Live in which he let slip the sex of the couple’s baby on the way.
“Things are good today. She’s remarried, she’s actually pregnant — everybody knows that,” he said. “She’s having a son. My kids are super excited. I’m excited for her new chapter in life. They’re a great couple and I really do hope the best for them.”
Christina, 35, shares two children with 37-year-old El Moussa — son Brayden James, 3½, and daughter Taylor Reese, 8 — while Ant, 40, is dad to son Archie, 12, and daughter Amelie, 15, with his ex Louise.

Pregnant Christina Anstead Surprises New Husband Ant With a Vintage Car for His 40th Birthday
Christina announced late last month that she and Ant, who married in December, are expecting their first baby together in September.
“@ant_anstead and I are so excited to announce #babyanstead coming this September!! The kids are all so excited to meet their new sibling ♥️,” the star posted alongside a snapshot of herself holding out an ultrasound photo while hugging her husband.
Wrote the dad-to-be in a comment, “Blessed! #MiracleBaby.”
On the same day as his ex-wife’s announcement, El Moussa celebrated parenthood and being a dad to their children, sharing a smiling photo of the trio cuddled up on a couch.
“My loves ❤️ my life ❤️ my everything ❤️ … this picture represents the most important part of my life … being a father!!!!!” he captioned the sweet image.
“No matter what happens during my day … I never take negativity home with me,” the dad of two continued. “When I have my babies I come home and can’t help but smile. I smile because I know no matter what we all love each other and nothing can break our bond. I just adore these two:).”
